Simcoe MTI is located in the Holland Marsh, roughly 50km north of Toronto, Ontario. The Holland Marsh is commonly referred to as Ontario’s ‘vegetable patch’ because of its incredible variety and abundant amounts of fresh produce. Crop selections range from carrots onions and celery, to more varied options like Chinese broccoli, Asian radish, and water spinach.

The Marsh’s rich ‘muck’ soil is ideal for growing these vegetables and the marsh has been a centre of agriculture for well over 60 years. Throughout the years, advancement in farming techniques and machinery have vastly improved. Simcoe MTI has be honoured to have worked with many of the farmers in the area as well as farmers from across Canada and the United States.
